Permission To Paint

CampBarbossa in association with the Leonard Street Gallery is pleased to present the graffiti duo Herakut who combine multiple techniques of both spray can and traditional painting methods in their highly stylised street works in our upcoming exhibition 'Permission To Paint' opening 14 December.
For the Permission to Paint show we effectively handed over the entire gallery space to the artists. By erecting a second skin of wood panelling over the walls Herakut were left with free reign to use or discard any interior surface they wished. This resulted in brilliantly ramshackled and freeform exhibit where no one piece existed as a stand alone work, but instead fused and spoke to each other.
